In the morning workshop, Paul Marsden talks about stress and how it affects us. He gives practical tips and techniques to reduce stress on a daily basis. These will be useful for working with clients and for self-help.
Paul holds a Masters Degree in Psychology and works with clients in private practice. He studied at postgraduate level at Dublin City University.
Paul has conducted trainings and developed policies for a variety of organisations in Ireland and the UK. He has been featured on a number of radio programmes on the topic of bullying and its effects on the individual and the workplace.

In the afternoon session, Professor Ivor Browne discusses his own understanding of stress, and shares some of his most useful stress reduction techniques during the first hour.
Then, for 2 hours Ivor will be glad to answer questions about any aspect of mental health. You can send your questions to Ivor when booking your ticket to the event.
Ivor Browne is now in his late 80s and has a lifetime of experience to share with us. He has devoted all his working life to helping people to overcome mental health problems.
